昨日もタカタでパドック作りしてきました。

昨日は、中四国学生ジムカーナ競技会をしていたので、作業の休憩時に３人で競技を見てました。

タバコを吸う人の肩身が狭くなっているのと同じく、エコの時代に入ってモータスポーツの参加人口が少なくなってきている中、これだけの学生が積極的に参加していることは珍しいのかななんて思ったりしました。

でも、師匠（笑）に言わせれば参加人数も台数も少なくなってきているのは事実のようだし、この競技会に四国勢が居なかったということからも、少しずつ来る時が来ているような気もします。

 

表にもちょこちょこ出つつ裏方でしっかり支え、多くの人が観に来たくなるようなイベントに出来ればと思います。

水島の埋立地であろう場所にある、場違いな感じの公園。

この公園からエコについて知った事を日常で実践できないか考えてみよう、という問題提起付きの解説看板がありました。

この辺りは貨物港になってるからか、全く人がおらず、鳥のさえずりばかりしか聞こえません。

さらに、定刻に鳴るチャイムや倉庫がきしむ音も聞こえてきて、不気味さを醸し出してます。

でも、悪くない。

いつ聴いても当時の事が色々と思い出されて，懐かしい気持ちになれる一曲がこの曲。

Torn – Natalie Imbruglia

90年代後半のコカコーラ製品のCMに使われていた曲で，当時の寮生活が強く思い出される。

友人から借りた記憶も含めて。

 

CMの落ち着いた演出（記憶の中で改変されてるかもしれないが…）が影響しているのか，

僕にとっては傷心にも浸れる一曲でもある。

そして，こう，何か叫びたくなるような，何かしたくなるような衝動にも駆られたり…。

 

そんな今日は，いつもブラリと向かうことが恒例の浜辺に，バッグでカメラを数台持ち込んで，

砂浜に座って写真撮影。

着いたときには晴れていた干潮の砂浜も，曇り空になるにつれて肌寒い風が吹き始め少し辛かったけど，

先週から久しぶりの持ち出しを始めた一眼レフと，危険なフィルムが装填されたカメラで写真を数枚。

 

最近はデジカメやトイカメばかりで写真を撮っていたので，

今日は一眼の面白さを改めて実感した。

 

それにしても，今日の天気といい，場所といい，気持ちといい，この曲が本当にマッチする。
